ESMIESMI offers financial support for dissemination, education and training events dedicated to subjects relevant to the European soft matter community. ESMI may cover up to fifty percent of the costs related to successful networking proposals. Click to learn more.
ESMIESMI is dedicated to promoting the participation of women and scientists with young children in soft matter science. ESMI supports parents who attend events included in the ESMI Networking plan. ESMI RESEARCH ACTIVITIES
ESMI research and development activities are dedicated to continually updating the instrumentation for physical experiments, broadening the variety of available soft matter materials and setting up new simulation techniques with a view to improving the infrastructure offered as part of the ESMI access program.
This will widen opportunities to study a broader range of complex soft matter systems. Responses to external fields and the associated far-from-equilibrium phenomena are a focus of our investigations. Partners from industry are involved in joint technique development activities to ensure that these are both robust and user-friendly.
